À propos de moi

Aida Ganjipour, Iranian photographer and architect. After having immortalized dozens of scenes in the meanders of the streets and the Persian countryside, the desire to discover the world on the other side of the seas seized me. Since 2017, here I am in France. From the proud Bordeaux city to the war port of Toulon, via this Paris full of grandeur and the posh squares of Aix-en-Provence, me and my mobile phone – which I use, in all circumstances, as a device photo – we crossed France. Of these Iranian and French wanderings, hundreds of people met, of those hours spent waiting in the drizzle for the best time to press the button on the smartphone, there are still my shots. They paint a portrait of a humanity torn between its nobility and its vicissitudes, marked by ugliness like the joys of industrial civilization, where fragility, love and beauty try despite all obstacles to make their way to flourish. These photos, I share them with you. May they touch you and produce in you some emotions, as I could experience by realizing them. (Photo: Eric Pineau)
